HANAHAN, S.C. -- The No. 20-ranked Texas A&M women's golf team will open its fall season at the Cougar Classic Sunday through Tuesday at Yeamans Hall Country Club.

The 20-team field will play 18 holes each day for a 54-hole total on the
par-72, 6,159-yard course. Live scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.
Joining A&M in the field are No. 12 Tennessee, No. 17 North Carolina, host College of Charleston, defending champion Florida State, Alabama, Furman, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Richmond, South Carolina, South Florida, Texas and UNC Greensboro.
A&M is the two-time defending Big 12 champion but lost All-American Ashley Knoll and All-Big 12 performer Christa Spedding to graduation.
