WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Nebraska's Sam Keller completed
21-of-41 passes for 258 yards and a touchdown as 16th-ranked
Nebraska beat Wake Forest 20-17. The win gives the Huskers a record
of 2-and-0 and sets the scene for next week's home game with
number-one Southern California.
Just a week after rushing for 413 yards against Nevada, Nebraska
was able to muster only 117 yards against the defending ACC
champion Demon Deacons.
In his first start as Wake's quarterback, Brett Hodges was
12-of-24 for 140 yards and two interceptions. The loss gives the
Deacons a record of 0-and-2.
