HOUSTON (AP) - Matt Schaub had a successful debut as quarterback of the Houston Texans. He completed 16-of-22 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown as the Texans beat the Kansas City Chiefs 20-3.
Last year's top overall pick by Houston, defensive lineman Mario
Williams, returned a fumble for a score and had five tackles and
two sacks.
The fumble recovery for a touchdown came when Jamar Fletcher
knocked the ball out of Kris Wilson's hands. Williams, who is
6-foot-7 and 285-pounds, scooped the ball up and ran 38 yards for
the score.
