ATLANTA (AP) - Tiger Woods has won the PGA's Tour Championship and with it the inaugural FedEx Cup title. Woods shot a final round 4-under 66 to finish 23 shots under par, eight shots in front of Zach Johnson. The win is his seventh of the PGA season.
For winning the event, Woods earned just over 1.2 million
dollars and for winning the first-ever FedEx Cup he landed the
10-million dollar first prize.
Steve Stricker finished well back of Woods in this event but
wound up second in the FedEx Cup standings and for that he earned a
3 million dollar paycheck.
