Astros Pound Pittsburgh

HOUSTON (AP) - Josh Anderson had a career-high five hits and
drove in three runs as Houston blasted Pittsburgh 15-3. The Astros
piled up a season-high 22 hits as Brandon Backe won for
the first time in more than a year. Chris Burke aided the Backe
cause with three hits and four runs batted in.
Backe, who had Tommy John surgery in September 2006, is 1-and-1while loser Paul Maholm drops to 10-and-15.
