State of Texas to be well-represented at AT&T National Diving Championships
The nation’s best divers are coming to College Station for the AT&T National Diving Championships from August 10-15, and many of them are from the state of Texas.

INDIANAPOLIS – The nation’s best divers are coming to College Station for the AT&T National Diving Championships from August 10-15, and many of them are from the state of Texas.

More than 30 divers with ties to Texas have qualified for the event, which will take place at the Student Recreation Center on the campus of Texas A&M University. Ten national titles will be handed out, as men’s and women’s titles will be awarded in 1-meter springboard, 3-meter springboard, 10-meter platform, synchronized 3-meter and synchronized 10-meter.

Qualified divers with Texas ties include three-time Olympian and 30-time national champion Troy Dumais (Austin, Texas), three-time Olympian Laura Wilkinson (Spring, Texas), 2008 Olympian David Boudia (Noblesville, Ind./native of Abilene, Texas), and 2009 U.S. national champions Kaylea Arnett (Spring, Texas), Michelle Cabassol (Montgomery, Texas), Kassidy Cook (The Woodlands, Texas), Loren Figueroa (Kingwood, Texas), and Drew Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas/Univ. of Texas).

AT&T NATIONAL DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE:
Competition starts at noon every day except Friday (11 a.m.)
Tuesday, August 10: Preliminaries for all four synchronized diving events
Wednesday, August 11: Women’s 3-meter quarterfinals, men’s 1-meter semifinals, women’s 3-meter semifinals; 6 p.m. - Men’s 1-meter final
Thursday, August 12: Men’s 3-meter quarterfinals, women’s 1-meter semifinals, men’s 3-meter semifinals; 6 p.m. - Women’s 1-meter finals
Friday, August 13: Men’s and women’s 10-meter quarterfinals and semifinals (women at 11 a.m., men at 4 p.m.)
Saturday, August 14: Women’s 3-meter finals, men’s 10-meter finals, women’s 3-meter synchro finals, men’s 10-meter synchro finals
Sunday, August 15: Men’s 3-meter finals, women’s 10-meter finals, men’s 3-meter synchro finals, women’s 10-meter synchro finals

TICKETS: Tickets are $10 per day for adults and $5 per day for children 4-12. Children 3 and under are free. All-session tickets are $35/person for adults and $25/person for children 4-12. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.usadiving.org.
