COLLEGE STATION -- The off-season hype machine has spent quite a bit of time in College Station, as the media and fans continue to build up the 2010 Aggie football team.
But with so much returning talent, it's to be expected that the bandwagon may be filling up.
With Jerrod Johnson being voted Big 12 Preseason offensive player of the year and Von Miller earning co-defensive player of the year honors, the expectations are high among fans and the media for this to be a break through season.
However, nobody has higher expectations than head coach Mike Sherman.
"I really like our guys. I like the guys I'm working with and I think there's a trust factor there," says Sherman. " I think we're at the point in the program where they trust me, I trust them and that makes it kind of fun. When you work with guys you like working with I think you can accomplish an awful lot and we have high expectations. We want to be better tomorrow than we are today and that's kind of been our motto; just keep getting better and better throughout the course of the off season, spring, and now the season so we just want to make great improvement."
The Aggies head to Big 12 Media Days in Irving on Monday.
