College Station -- The A&M Consolidated Tigers lost their final non-district game of the season 41 - 14 to Katy who is the number one team in class 5A.

Katy got touchdown runs from Trent Hunter and Aundre Dean to help build a 14 - 0 lead. A punt return for a touchdown would extend their advantage to 21 - 0 before Consol got on the board. Wes Schill scampered in from 25 yards out to cut Katy's lead to 21 - 7 at the half.

Consol would cut the lead to 21 - 14 with a third quarter defensive touchdown but Katy would score 20 straight points to pull away.

Consol will open up district 13-5A play next week on the road against Shoemaker.
