A&M Consolidated advances in volleyball playoffs

BRENHAM -- The A&M Consolidated volleyball team beat Klein Collins 25-15, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19 in a Class 5A bi-district playoff game Tuesday night. Consol is now 37-7 on the season.

Hayley Cmajdalka led the Lady Tigers with 18 kills. Jessica Wagner added 17 kills and 17 digs.

Consol will face Austin Westlake in the area round of the playoffs. Westlake beat Pflugerville in the bi-district round on Tuesday night.

Blackhawks beat Bruins 6-5 in OT, even series 2-2
