A&M's Manziel Currently In 15th Place In Davey O'Brien Fan Voting

FORT WORTH, TX -- The 2012 season marks the sixth year that fans have participated in the selection of the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. As of Tuesday at 3:30pm Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson was in the lead with 7,348 votes with Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel in 15th place with 636 votes. Voting in the first round will last through October 21st.

The Fan Vote counts as 5% during each round of the voting process and is combined with the results from the Selection Committee.

Fans are invited to cast their vote for the nation’s best college quarterback as often as once daily. The link is listed below.

Vote opens: Sept. 4
Voting closes: Oct. 21

Finalists/Round 2:
Vote opens: Oct. 22
Voting closes: Nov. 18

Winner/Round 3:
Vote opens: Nov. 19
Voting closes: Dec. 2
