Aggie D-Line Coach's Experience in the SEC "Priceless" As Aggies Head to Ole Miss

BRYAN, TX -- SEC football is billed as "Smash Mouth" highlighted by "Speedy - Physical" defenses, and somebody that knows that first hand is veteran SEC defensive line coach Terry Price.

Kevin Sumlin knew he needed to hire someone on the defense that knew what the Aggies would be up against week in and week out and considering Terry played his college football at Texas A&M it made adding the 17 year SEC veteran a "priceless" addition to his staff last winter. Of those 17 years in the SEC, Price made two separate coaching stops at Ole Miss (7 years). His other SEC experience was at Auburn (10 seasons).

Heading into the season, the Aggie defensive line was considered the weak link on the team, but under Price's guidance has been a strength. One of the big surprises has been the play of rush end DaMontre Moore.

"Him teaching us technique, the knowledge that he has of coaching in the SEC and the fact that he played here on the original 'Wrecking Crew' it motivates us," said Moore. "He done been where we want to go, he done seen what we want to do, and he knows how we need to do it. It's just a matter of us listening and doing what he says."

Texas A&M is now a 12 1/2 point favorite heading into their first SEC road game. Kickoff Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is set for 6:02. The game is being televised by ESPNU.
