Aggie Game Day Festivities including the Aggie Fan Zone

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- As Texas A&M prepares to host the Sam Houston State Bearkats in a 2:30 p.m. football game at Kyle Field designated Military Appreciation Game, plenty of fun activities surround the game.

During the game the Aggies will recognize support groups that have helped our military and during halftime the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets will form a block T.
Members of the newly inducted Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame will be introduced at halftiome. All-American men’s golfer Danny Briggs, Juan De La Garza, current assistant track and field coach and former All-American javelin standout, distance runner and All-American Melissa Gulli Cook, two-sport standout in track and field and women’s basketball Lisa Langston, football All-American Jason Webster and the winningest baseball coach in Aggie history Mark Johnson, who completed his coaching career at Sam Houston State, will be presented. Members of the Aggie Hall of Honor include Dorothy and Artie McFerrin and longtime compliance director Tedi Ellison while former Junction Boy and football standout Billy Pete Huddleston will be presented the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Pregame festivities begin three hours prior to kick (11:30 a.m.) at the Aggie Fan Zone and will feature a Kids Yell Practice and the Spirit Walk down Houston Street with the Aggie football arriving approximately 12:25 p.m. Food and drink is also available at the north end of Kyle Field.

There are also a number of interactive displays from AT&T, the Texas Lottery and a backpack giveaway courtesy of Southwest Dairy Farmers.
Intel and Microsoft will be demoing their new Kinect game “Discovered: Slated for Stardom” as well as giving away an Ultrabook. Intel invites fans to experience the interactive film using the power of Kinect to put users into the first-person point of view of an aspiring star as they to find what it takes to become the next big thing.
