COLLEGE STATION --- The Texas A&M men’s swimming and diving team will host longtime regional rival SMU for a 7 p.m. dual meet on Senior Night on Friday at the Student Recreation Natatorium.

The Aggies will honor seven seniors who will be competing in their final regular season home meet: John Dalton (Golden, Colo.), Nick Han (Grapevine, Texas), Max Lewis (Houston, Texas), John McClure (Mansfield, Texas), John Wagner (Houston, Texas), Wes Wheeler (Austin, Texas) and Austin Wilson (Kingwood, Texas). It won’t be their last time to swim in Aggieland since Texas A&M is hosting the 2013 Southeastern Conference Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 19-23.

Texas A&M will battle the Mustangs for the first time since entering the College Swim Coaches Association of America Top 25 poll at No. 21. A&M entered the poll after sweeping Incarnate Word and then-No. 19 LSU last weekend. A&M beat the Cardinals 139-98 and the Tigers 158-140.

In the Aggies’ win over LSU, the team had to overcome multiple double-digit deficits to log its first-ever SEC victory. A&M won nine events against the Tigers with Dalton and freshman Alexandros Theocharidis contributing a pair of wins. For their efforts last weekend, Theocharidis was named SEC Freshman of the Week and sophomore Ford McLiney was named SEC Diver of the Week.

Admission is free, and live results and a live video stream will be available on AggieAthletics.com.
