GREENVILLE, SC— Texas A&M senior defensive back Tramain Jacobs will compete in the College All-Star Bowl Game scheduled to kick at 5 p.m. central on Friday, Feb. 14 from Furman’s campus in Greenville, South Carolina. The game will be televised by CBS Sports Network.
Jacobs, from Covington, Louisiana, started six games in 2013 in the defensive backfield. He compiled 33 total tackles including 23 solo stops. He broke up eight passes and picked off one throw. Jacobs played in all 13 games in 2013 and was a key contributor on special teams as well.
Jacobs came to Texas A&M in 2012 from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and played in all 13 games as a backup and special teams player. He posted 22 total tackles and broke up three passes in the secondary.
