Aggie Women's Basketball Mourns Loss of Karen Grant

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Texas A&M women’s basketball is saddened to announce that Karen Grant passed away earlier today, Karen is the mother of junior guard Kristen Grant and video coordinator Nick Grant. Mrs. Grant has been battling breast cancer for much of the past year in Arlington, Texas, with the love and support of her husband Anthony Grant.

“Aggies everywhere are saddened to hear of Karen Grant’s passing,” Head Coach Gary Blair said earlier today. “The thoughts and prayers of the entire women’s basketball program and the entire Aggie family are with the Kristen, Nick and Anthony in their time of need.”

Arrangements have not been made at this time.
