COLLEGE STATION --- The Texas A&M women’s swimming team closed out a perfect fall schedule with a 158-96 win over Rice on Friday at the Student Recreation Natatorium on the A&M campus.

With the win, the No. 2-ranked Aggies were 4-0 in dual meets during the fall season and also produced a team victory in the Art Adamson Invitational. The Aggies’ next action will be in 2014 when A&M hosts the defending NCAA and Southeastern Confererence team champion Georgia Bulldogs on Jan. 10.

Cammile Adams, Sarah Henry and Breeja Larson are in Scotland competing for Team USA in the Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool, while Erica Dittmer and Lili Ibanez are competing at the Mexican National Championships.

Leading the way for the Aggies were true freshman Sycerika McMahon, who tallied a trio of individual wins. McMahon, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, posted wins in the 100 breast (1:02.65), 200 IM (2:02.94) and 500 free (4:56.88). Also grabbing multiple wins were Paige Miller in the 100 back (53.90) and 100 fly (54.37), and Sammie Bosma in the 50 free (23.08) and 100 free (50.03.

Winning individual races for the Aggies were Colleen Konetzke in the 1,000-yard free (10:09.21), Meredith Oliver in the 200 free (1:48.89), Caroline McElhany in the 200 butterfly (1:59.44), Claire Brandt in the 200 back (1:59.51) and Ashley McGregor in the 200 breast (2:15.03).

The Aggies also won the 200 medley relay to open the meet with Miller, McMahon, Emily Neubert and Bosma touching the wall first in 1:41.64.
