Aggie Men's Tennis Remains No. 11 in National Poll

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- The Texas A&M men’s tennis team is 4-1 on the young season and in the latest Campbell/ITA Rankings remained ranked at the No. 11 position in the Top 25.

The Aggies will face their third consecutive Top 15 opponent on Friday (Feb. 10) when Texas A&M travels to Houston to take on the Texas Longhorns, currently tied for No. 14 in the poll. The Aggies defeated No. 14 Mississippi State in the championship of the ITA Kick-Off event held in College Station (Jan. 29) for the right to advance to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships being hosted by the University of Virginia, Feb. 17-20. Texas A&M fell to the No. 2-ranked Virginia Cavaliers last Sunday in Charlottesville. The match did provide the young Aggie squad an opportunity to get accustomed to the indoor conditions.
