The Aggies also advanced to No. 9 in the NCAA RPI revealed on Monday, the first time this season Texas A&M has been in the top 10. The Maroon and White remained at No. 8 in the Soccer America ranking released on Tuesday.

After spending last week at No. 6, the Aggies were rewarded for going 1-0-1 on the road in league action. Texas A&M tied Kentucky 2-2 and recorded a 2-0 shutout at Mississippi State. Texas A&M was slotted 14th in the preseason poll and has made a steady climb as the season progressed. This marks the fourth consecutive week in the top 10.
