The Texas A&M women’s swimming and diving team will take on North Texas and Houston in the Aggies’ final regular season tune-ups before the Southeastern Conference Championships. The Aggies will face UNT at 4 p.m. on Friday in Denton and then return to College Station to host the Cougars at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The No. 9-ranked Aggies have compiled a 7-1 overall record and tallied victories over Incarnate Word and LSU in their most recent action. Texas A&M has 16 swimmers with individual NCAA consideration times, including three Aggies combining for eight “A” cuts, and both divers have achieved their zones cuts. All five relays have posted NCAA consideration cuts, including “A” cuts by the 400 free relay and both medley relays.

Heading into the SEC Championships, which will be contested in College Station, Texas on Feb. 19-23, the Aggies have three swimmers with conference-leading times: sophomore Sarah Henry in the 500 free (4:33.07) and 1,650 free (15:51.28), junior Breeja Larson in the 100 breaststroke (57.53) and 200 breaststroke (2:04.48) and junior Cammile Adams in the 200 fly (1:53.97). The Aggies also have the SEC’s top time in the 200-yard medley relay (senior Tess Simpson, Larson, junior Paige Miller and sophomore Lili Ibanez).

Saturday’s dual with Houston will also be Senior Day with eight Aggies competing in their final regular season home meet at the Rec. Being honored on Senior Day are Meagan Hairston (Plano, Texas), Jordan King (Portland, Ore.), Maureen McLaine (Plano, Texas), Liz Nelson (The Woodland, Texas), Christine Regone (Katy, Texas), Jaclin Rehring (Lucas, Texas), Simpson (Ingleside, Ontario, Canada) and Rebecca St. Germain (San Antonio, Texas).
