COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Overall the LSU Tigers lead the all-time series with the Aggies 28-20-3, however, 32 of the 51 match-ups have been in Baton Rouge, including every year from 1960 to 1975.
Before last season's loss to LSU at Kyle Field, the teams last faced off in the regular season in a ten-year series from 1986 to 1995.
Believe it or not the Aggies are on a two-game winning streak in Tiger Stadium.
The last trip was an 18-13 win in 1994. A&M trailed 13-12 midway through the fourth, but Leeland McElroy's 59-yard touchdown run put the Aggies up for good. He ran for 132 yards in the victory.
The 7th ranked Aggies got a 31-22 win in 1992. Greg Hill ran for 98 yards and Rodney Thomas added 93, including a touchdown to put the Aggies up ten in the 4th quarter.
But that's where the winning streak ends.
LSU got the best of the 11th ranked Aggies 17-8 in 1990.
The 17th ranked Tigers shut out number 11 A&M 27-0 in 1988, and number seven Texas A&M was beaten 35-17 by the 14th ranked Bayou Bengals in 1986.
Both teams have been ranked going into the game six times in series history. LSU has won 5 of those 6 match-ups.
