COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- The Texas A&M women’s swimming and diving team will sponsor a BTHO Breast Cancer benefit during Saturday’s dual meet against the LSU Tigers beginning at 1 p.m. at the Student Recreation Natatorium.

Donations will be collected at the meet and all proceeds from the benefit will be donated to the Pink Alliance, which is a local organization that works in partnership with the Cancer Center, Hope Cancer Clinic, American Cancer Socity, Medi-Care Equipment, Inc., Bryan Radiology Associates and Health for All. For more information on the Pink Alliance, go to: PinkAlliance.org.

The Aggies, coached by Steve Bultman, Tanica Jamison and Jay Lerew, will be wearing special pink swim caps in the dual meet against the Tigers. Fans who donate to the cause will be entered in a raffle to win prizes such as an Olympic t-shirt autographed by the Aggie Olympians and posters autographed by the team. Also, fans have been entering into a week-long raffle via the Aggie Swimming and Diving Facebook page (facebook.com/aggieswimdive) to win a swim cap or poster signed by the Aggie Olympians or by the team. The winners will be drawn during the meet.

As a special benefit, members of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band will be in attendance on Saturday and will play during the meet.
