Alexia Standish Leaving Aggie Women's Basketball Team

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Sophomore Guard Alexia Standish has informed the Texas A&M Women’s Basketball team that she is discontinuing her basketball career at Texas A&M. Standish will remain at Texas A&M to continue her education. This year Standish appeared in 5 games with one start, last season Standish appeared in 34 games with 21 starts.

“We wish Alexia the best in the future and appreciate all that she has done for Aggie Basketball,” Head Coach Gary Blair said. “She will continue her education here at Texas A&M where she intends to graduate.”

Texas A&M Women’s Basketball will return to the court on Dec. 4 to face off three-time national champion Louisiana Tech at Reed Arena, tip time is set for 7:00 p.m.
