Allen Open set for April 23; Johnny Manziel scheduled to take part

Allen Academy and Johnny Manziel are joining together at the 2013 Allen Open to support Allen Academy and Charlie Dina’s charity, Texas Children’s Hospital: Cancer Center.
Charlie Dina is a young boy with Neuroblastoma, Johnny has built an endearing relationship with Charlie and his family. Johnny mentioned Charlie in his Heisman speech and wears a yellow “Charlie’s Angels” wrist band at all times. The Allen Open is held at the beautiful Miramont Country Club. This tournament is in a 4 person per team scramble format and will include games such as longest drive, closest to the pin and a chance to win a car with a hole in one. Admission is $300 per person and includes: cart and green fees, range balls, breakfast, lunch, refreshments on the course, tournament towel, tournament hat and a professional photo with Johnny Manziel alongside the Heisman Trophy. Johnny will take a leadership role in the tournament by hitting the ceremonial tee shot, meet and greet the players and by taking photos with each team.
