FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - John L. Smith says he believes Arkansas will remain focused for the rest of the season and can still reach a bowl game.
The Razorbacks (3-5, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) suffered a 30-27 loss to Mississippi last week, meaning they must win three of their final four games to become bowl eligible for the fourth straight season. Those games are against teams that are a combined 28-5.
Smith says tight end Chris Gragg and running back Knile Davis will miss this week's game with Tulsa. Gragg reinjured a leg injury against the Rebels, while Davis injured his right hamstring.
The Golden Hurricane (7-1, 5-0 Conference USA) has lost 17 straight to Arkansas. However, Tulsa has won seven straight since an opening loss at Iowa State and leads the nation in sacks.
