A's top Rangers 3-2 in 10 innings

ARLINGTON -- George Kottaras hit a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning and the A's held on to beat the Rangers 3-2 Tuesday night.

The win keeps Oakland within four games of Texas in the American League West race.

The two teams resume the series tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. The series finale is Thursday afternoon.
