KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - After another year of trading veterans for prospects, the Houston Astros are still looking for a few good men.

As they make the switch to the American League, the Astros have added veterans like Carlos Pena, Rick Ankiel, Erik Bedard and Jose Veras to the roster. Still, almost every position is on the line, including two spots in the pitching rotation and the entire bullpen.

Manager Bo Porter acknowledged the Astros have few "established players," and that one of the team's goals is to have more positions established at this time next year. On Saturday, the team holds its first organized full-squad workout of spring training.
