WACO, Texas -- Baylor and TCU will play as conference rivals for the first time in 17 years.

TCU has become a member of the Big 12 Conference since its wild season-opening 50-48 loss at Baylor last year. The Horned Frogs have to go back to Waco for Saturday night's game.

The last time the teams about 100 miles apart played as league rivals was in 1995. That was the last season of the Southwest Conference. They played four times since, with the Frogs winning the first three.

Baylor leads the nation with 417 yards passing per game with Nick Florence as the quarterback in place of Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III. TCU will be without quarterback Casey Pachall, who has left school to enter a rehab facility.
