HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Tickets for the 2014 Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park are now on sale through the Houston Astros. Sam Houston State fans should use the offer code “vipshsu” to receive the best deal.
Single-game general admission ticket prices are $12 with the offer code and Diamond Club tickets are $45.
This year’s field features six teams from the state of Texas. Sam Houston will play TCU Friday afternoon at 3:35 p.m., Texas Tech Saturday at 12:05 p.m. and Texas Sunday at 10:05 a.m.
The Kats are coming off of back-to-back Southland championships and NCAA Regional appearances. Last season’s squad picked up wins over Baylor, Houston, Rice, Texas, and Texas A&M and will play each of them again in 2014.
A three-day tournament pass for the College Classic can also be purchased in advance for $36.

Season tickets for Sam Houston State baseball are also currently on sale. A reserved chairback season seat for all 30 games at Don Sanders Stadium is $150. Aside from the best seats in the house, a season ticket purchase also assures fans of priority for postseason playoff tickets.
Fans can purchase single-game baseball tickets for $8 for reserved seats and $6 for general admission. Every Friday game is a Friday Family Night special where for $8 fans receive a reserved seat, hot dog, drink, and popcorn.
Baseball opening night is Friday, February 14th vs. Northern Colorado. Sam Houston will host mid-week games with top teams such as Rice, Houston and Baylor.
