Blinn baseball splits double-header with Wharton

WHARTON, Texas – The Blinn College baseball team split an afternoon double-header against Wharton County Junior College here Friday.
Blinn dropped the opening game 3-2 and took the second game 2-1.
The Buccaneers are currently 2-3 on the season.

Blinn travels to Lufkin for a 5 p.m. game against Angelina College on Thursday, then makes its home debut Feb. 11 with a 3 p.m. double-header against Angelina. Prior to the twin bill, the Buccaneers will honor their 1992 team, which qualified for the Junior College World Series.
