Brazos Valley High Schoolers Sign National Letters of Intent

Just over 30 young athletes from around the area officially signed to various university and college sports programs of their choice on Wednesday.

Here is a run down of the who's who:

NAVASOTA

KADARIUS BAKER (QB)
-Signed with Houston Baptist University

Stats:
Baker had 405 attempts and 256 completions for 4,411 yards.
He passed for 275.7 yards per game, had 55 passing touchdowns, 5 rushing touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.

Among the awards Baker received, he was awarded the MaxPreps 2012 Medium School All American 1st Team QB, as well as, the
2012 Padilla Poll 3A Coaches All State Team- Offensive Player of the Year

AUSTIN COLLINS (WR/DB)
Signed with Navarro Junior College

Offensive stats-
91 catches for 1,774 yards, 19.5 yards per catch, 110.9 yards receiving per game, 27 receiving touchdowns, 198 total points scored- 18 rushing attempts- 171 yards- 4 touchdowns

DEFENSIVE STATS- 71 total tackles, 42 solo tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 7 interceptions for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns, 1 caused fumble, 16 pass break ups

Stats: 87 catches for 1,719 yards, 19.8 yards per catch, 107.4 yards receiving per game, 20 receiving touchdowns, 128 total points scored

JAYLYIN MINOR (LB)
-Signed with Tyler Junior College

Stats:
171 total tackles, 84 solo tackles, 52 tackles for loss, 9 quarterback sacks, 1 Fumble Recovery for 5 yards and TD, 7 Fumbles Caused, 5 pass breakups, 16 Quarterback hurries, 2 blocked kicks

HUNTSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
