Vidalia, LA The girls from Bryan United are 2-1 as of Monday at the Southwest Regional in Vidalia, Lousiana.
United smashed the Texas West champs once already in their opening game of the regional, with a final score of 16-0. They met their match Saturday as they lost to Louisiana 4-1, and were forced to come out of the loser's bracket.
The Texas East champs took out their frustrations on Colorado Sunday night with a 21-4 victory to stay alive. Bryan United will play Monday night at 6 p.m. against the Zapata County, Texas West champs in Louisiana. The winner of that game will face the loser of the 4 p.m. game, between the two Louisiana teams, at 8 p.m. on Monday night.
