Bryan back home to face Conroe

BRYAN -- The Bryan Vikings will be at Merrill Green Stadium Friday night for a Homecoming match-up against Conroe. The game will kick-off at 7:30pm.

Bryan is looking to move to 2-0 in district 14-5A play after beating Oak Ridge 20-7 last Friday in the district opener. Conroe dropped their district opener to The Woodlands last week 56-28. The Tigers are 1-4 on the season but Bryan head coach Ross Rogers knows his team will have to play well on both side of the football to beat Conroe. "We have to tackle well on the quarterback when we have a chance to get him down because he spins out of a lot of tackles and extends the play so the play is never over." Rogers added "Offensively we have to execute. We have not executed nearly like we can and I think we have had a good week trying to get that done."
