OMAHA, Neb. --- Texas A&M head women's swimming coach Steve Bultman will join Aggies Breeja Larson and Cammile Adams on the U.S. Olympic Swimming Team as an assistant coach, USA Swimming announced on Monday.

It will be the second appointment on U.S. Olympic swim team for Bultman, who also served on the U.S. Olympic staff at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea. At the 2008 Games, Bultman was on Estonia's coaching staff, assisting with former A&M All-American Triin Aljand.

"It's extremely humbling to be named to the U.S. Olympic swim team coaching staff," Bultman said. "The Olympics only come around once every four years, and I'm very proud to be representing Texas A&M and my country at an international competition."

Bultman, who has built the Aggies into a perennial top 10 team in the NCAA ranks, took 18 swimmers to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials with Larson and Adams nabbing Texas A&M's first- and second-ever wins at the meet. Larson and Adams, both sophomores, became the first Aggies to ever qualify in an individual event for the U.S. Olympic swim team when Larson won the 100-meter breaststroke and Adams struck gold in the 200 butterfly. Adams also won a bronze medal in the 400 IM, while Larson placed sixth in the 200 breaststroke.

Also reaching finals at the Trials were sophomores Sarah Henry and Caroline McElhany. Henry placed seventh in the 400 IM final, and McElhany was fifth in the 200 fly and eighth in the 100 fly.
