CS Lady Cougars Get 2Second Half Goals To Beat Gainesville 2-1

The CSHS Cougar Girls soccer team played against Gainesville in the Argyle Tournament today. The Cougars went down 1-0, 10 minutes into the match.

Ten minutes into the second half, Maddie Kothmann and Jaylen Hinckley worked a combination down the right flank. Hinckley crossed the ball to Emily Guerrieri who scored from 6 yards out to even the score, 1-1. With 15 minutes left in the game, Gainesville netted the game winner, beating College Station, 2-1. The Cougs' record is now 3-2.

The Cougars will play again Friday night at 7:00pm against Princeton.
