College Station - The Lady Cougars defeated Tomball and Foster Friday in the first annual College Station Classic.
In the opening match against Tomball the Cougars struck first when Reagan Martin's direct kick found Kiley Scott to put the Cougars in the lead.
Maddie Kothmann scored the second goal off of a throw-in to make the score 2-0.
The Cougs finished the scoring when Courtney Aleman took a corner kick and beat the goalie directly to the far post to make the final score 3-0.
In the Cougars second match of the day against Foster, Jaylen Hinckley scored 8 minutes into the match with an assist from Courtney Aleman.
With 7 minutes to go in the half a well placed cross by Maddie Kothmann found Jaylen Hinckley to put the Cougars up 2-0. With one minute to go in the first half, Courtney Aleman scored off an assist from Kinsey Rhome. Jaylen Hinckley finished the scoring with a second-half goal to give her a hat trick on the night.
The 4-0 victory gave the Lady Cougars a record of 2-0 going into tomorrow's match against Friendswood.
