The College Station Lady Cougars soccer team fought hard today, but fell 2-1 to the Conroe Tigers in the 3rd game of the third game of the Brazos Cup. Conroe struck first in the first half on a high shot from 30 yards. The Cougars bounced back when Kinsey Rhome collected a deflected ball and took it to the right, beating the Conroe keeper to the left. Ten minutes into second half, the Tigers ran up the left sideline on a throw in and slid the ball past the Cougar keeper. The Cougars had a couple opportunities late but failed to score an equalizing goal.
The Cougars (7-5) travel to Willis on Tuesday at 4:45, for a double header with the CSHS boys soccer team.
