The A&M Consolidated Tigers crushed El Paso Parkland 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
After a four-run first inning, the Tigers never looked back. Jonathan Sylvester led the way going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and scoring a run. Garrison Gibson went 1 for 3 with a run and an RBI, and Kyle Pye went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
James Amdor got the win on the hill for the Tigers. In five innings of work, Amdor threw 39 strikes in 59 pitches, allowing two hits mad striking out two.
The Tigers are now 6-4 and will play next on March 3rd against Concordia Luthern at Tiger Field. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. and the team will be recognizing the seniors' parents.
