Aggie legends Danté Hall and John David Crow will be on hand at the “Sports Illustrated College Football Experience presented by Nissan” on Saturday afternoon at the Aggie Fan Zone. Both will participate in a “SI Chalk Talk” and autograph session with Hall appearing from 3-4:30 p.m. and Crow participating from 4:30-6 p.m.
Hall, who lettered from 1996-98, ranks as one of the most explosive return men in school history and led the team in rushing in 1997 and 1998. He went on to fame in the NFL as the “X-Factor”, a nickname he earned with his dynamic return skills.
The 1957 Heisman Trophy winner, Crow is college football legend with a place in the athletic Hall of Fames for the National Football Foundation, Texas A&M, and the states of Texas and Louisiana. Also an All-American and Walter Camp Memorial Trophy winner in 1957 for legendary coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, Crow went on to become a first-round NFL draft pick and earned All-NFL honors twice. He later was a head coach at the collegiate level and served as athletic director at A&M from 1988-93.
