FORT WORTH, Texas -- The 2012 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award® Marquee Match-up for week 11, highlights Davey O'Brien Semifinalists Johnny Manziel and AJ McCarron as Texas A&M heads on the road for the third straight week to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The Aggies, led by freshman signal caller Johnny Manziel, have been dominant on the road going a perfect 5-0 so far this season. The Aggies rank fourth in scoring offense (44.67 points per game) and fifth in total offense (559.56 yards per game) in their inaugural season in the SEC. Moreover, Manziel leads the SEC in rushing with 102.44 yards per game and ranks third in passing with 280.78 yards per game.
However, Alabama's defense is stout. The Crimson Tide rank first nationally in scoring defense (9.11 points per game) and second in rush defense allowing opponents only 66.33 yards per game. On top of which, AJ McCarron, who ranks first in the NCAA in pass efficiency (173.54 rating), has yet to throw an interception while tallying 19 touchdown passes.
