DOG & PONY SHOW
BRYAN, TX. February 19, 2013 – What do you get when you put fast horses, fierce competitors and expertly trained K9s in the same building? One heck of a Dog & Pony Show! Don’t miss the Dog & Pony Show at this year's Diamonds & Dirt Barrel Horse Classic at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan, Texas, on Friday March 15, 2013. The event will kick off at 7:30 p.m.

Some of the world's most talented barrel racers run their amazing horses at the Diamonds & Dirt Barrel Horse Classic. This is a week-long event - the days spent watching these expert riders tear around barrels and the evenings spent frying fish and two stepping the night away. There will also be some serious fundraising for a very worthy cause -- K9s4COPs. K9s4COPs was founded by Kristi Schiller in 2010 – and provides highly trained and skilled K9s to law enforcement agencies and school districts.

Four teams of experienced riders will race ponies around the barrels – to make it more entertaining! All proceeds from this event will go to K9s4COPs. The winning team will be able to gift one of these amazing K9s to the police department at Texas A&M University.

After the races, there will also be a demonstration by an officer and his K9 partner. If you haven't seen these amazing dogs in action, you are truly in for a spectacular show.

Supporters can visit www.K9s4COPs.org and click on the DONATE link at the top of the page -- make sure to put in the memo section that it's for the Dog & Pony Show – and your particular team. Each of the four teams is led by a K9s4COPs board member – Shanna’s Sugar Riders, Team Dr. Manny, Team Reveille and Team Cowgirls & K9s.
