The most anticipated conference opener in the history of Aggie football will kick off Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at Kyle Field, and ESPN is getting ready for a national broadcast leading up to the A&M-Florida game.

College Gameday crews are now in town. Those crews started setting up the Gameday set and jumbotron screens Thursday afternoon at Texas A&M's Simpson Drill Field.

College Gameday begins Saturday morning at 8 on ESPN-U, then continues at 9 on ESPN.

The site will give the audience a scenic view of The Zone at Kyle Field, overlooking the newly-renovated Memorial Student Center.

This is GameDay's third overall visit to Aggieland, and the first since A&M played Oklahoma in 2006. And it's exciting for students.

A&M student Cory Bena says, "It's hard to believe. It probably won't kick in until Saturday morning when I see Herbstreit and Corso up there, so it's going to be pretty awesome to watch."

The College Gameday crew, including Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard will arrive Friday.
