Florida's Pease apologizes for 'potty mouth'

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Florida offensive coordinator Brent Pease is apologizing for using obscenities after being caught on camera obviously swearing during the Gators' season opener.

The former Boise State coordinator came to Gainesville with a reputation for being emotional, and it showed Saturday during a 27-14 victory in which the Florida offense sputtered.

Pease says, "I probably got a little potty mouth. I apologize for that. I hear it more from my mom than anybody else."

What did mom say? "My mother said to be careful and I need to watch my mouth. I had my mouth washed out with soap when I was like 9. It's not going to happen now."
