Franklin Lady Lions Improve to 19-0, Along With Other Thursday Basketball Finals

BRYAN, TX -- The Franklin Lions (19-0) posted a pair of wins over China Spring and Sam Rayburn during the opening day of the 13th Annual McDonald's All Star Basketball Invitational.

Against Sam Rayburn Kayla Walker led the Lady Lions with 17 points, while Carrie Casey added 14, and Reagan Blajeski tossed in 11. Franklin will take on Fairfield Friday morning at 11:30 at The Armory at Rudder High School.

Sam Rayburn (15-4) was led in scoring by Sarah Foreman who had 22 points, while Cassidy Hall added 21 points.
