Guerrieri to Throw First Pitch at Astros’ Aggie Night

COLLEGE STATION, TX -- Big 12 Champion Texas A&M soccer coach G Guerrieri will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Aggie Night at the Houston Astros’ baseball game against the Texas Rangers, Saturday at 6:15 p.m. at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Aggie Night at Minute Maid Park includes specially-priced tickets. To receive the discount, log on to www.astros.com/aggie and enter the password aggie. Fans that purchase Aggie Night tickets will receive a one-of-a-kind cap with a maroon Astros logo, and $2 from each ticket will be donated to the Howdy Club, the Houston A&M Club and the Reveille Club. Plus, 10,000 fans at the Astros-Rangers game will receive a free Nolan Ryan bobblehead.

Guerrieri has guided the Aggies to 12 Big 12 Championships after starting the program 19 years ago. The Aggies have earned 17 consecutive postseason berths and have made 10 trips to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and four to the Elite Eight.

With Guerrieri at the helm, the A&M soccer team has become the most successful in the Big 12 and one of the best in the country. He has coached 14 NSCAA All-Americans and 13 Freshman All-Americans.
