CENTERVILLE, Texas -- The Centerville Tiger football tam lose some talented seniors from a great 2012 class, but should be in the thick of the district race and back in the playoffs in 2013.
Defense may lead the Tigers early, and should be a strength throughout the season. Centerville returns six starters on defense and five of them were all-district a year ago.
Four starters are back on offense, two in the backfield and two on the line. Cade Har-ris looks to replace Garrett Chase at quarterback, and Jordan Cannon also saw time under center last season as well.
The Tigers had an advantage in having six home games a year ago, but the schedule switches and Centerville will have to play six on the road in 2013, including a game at Crawford that will have district championship implications.
