Is it the Wolverines' turn?

Posted: Mon 11:31 AM, Jan 28, 2013

It is more than likely there will be a new No. 1 when this week's AP college basketball poll is released today. And it's a good bet it will be Michigan.

Duke currently sits atop the rankings, but the Blue Devils got blown out by No. 25 Miami on Wednesday, before beating Maryland over the weekend and sit at 17-2 on the season.

The Wolverines, meanwhile, posted victories over Purdue and Illinois to get to 19-1.

Third-ranked Kansas could get some attention. The Jayhawks are 18-1 after wins over No. 11 Kansas State and Oklahoma.
