La Vega Ends Caldwell's Volleyball Season After 4 Set Win

BRYAN, TX -- The UIL State Volleyball tournament got started Monday night and the Caldwell Lady Hornets have been eliminated after a four set loss to La Vega 18-25, 25-22, 16-25, 12-25.

Caldwell finishes its season with a 21-10 overall record.

The Lady Hornets tied for the District 18-3A championship along with College Station, but lost to the Cougars in a "seedings match" on Saturday and had to face La Vega in the first round.

A&M Consolidated will play its first round match on Tuesday at Brenham High School against Klein Collins. First serve is set for 6:30.
