Lady Cougars Shut Out Sealy in Soccer 6-0

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The Lady Cougars improved to 3-0 in district play by defeating the Sealy Tigers 6-0 at Cougar Field. Kirstyn Sosa scored the first Cougar goal on an assist from Jj Handy.

Three minutes later Maddie Jenkins made the score 2-0 to send the Cougs into the half with the lead. The Cougs came out strong in the second half and scored four goals in a twenty minute span.

Madison Kothmann and Jaylen Hinckley had two goals apiece with assists from Lexi Bullard, Emily Guerrieri, Steele Fancher, and Ariel Salas.

The Cougars overall record is 12-5-1 and they will be in action again on Friday when they take on Brookshire Royal in Brookshire at 5:30.
