NAVASOTA, TX -- All 3 of the Navasota High School girl's basketball teams got big wins
at home last night (Monday) as they swept Class 4A Waller.
The varsity won 67-20. All 9 players suited up scored led by Alexus
Freeman and Denisha Ford with 15 each and Tae Lattimore with 14.
Freshman Molly Love had 8 points and Reana McNeal added 6, Chloe
James chipped in 3 while Shakara Spriggs, Lanell Hayes and Nesha
Douglas each had 2.
The win improves the Rattlers record to 3-1 on the season.
The junior varsity won 39-9. Bree Mock led all scorers with 10 while
Dee Dee Robinson had 8 and Kaitlyn Raper chipped in 7 points.
The freshman also won 39-15. Tashyra Banks led the way with 16 points.
All three teams will be back in action tonight (Tuesday) when they
travel to Sealy to take on the Tigers.
The freshman game tips off at 4;00 while the JV plays at 5:15 and the
varsity game is set to tip off at 6:30.
