Manziel talks with KBTX the day after winning Heisman Trophy

NEW YORK CITY, NY-- Saturday night Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel become the first freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy.

Johnny had a busy day planned for Sunday, with several appearances scheduled including a visit with Fox and Friends, but did talk with News 3's Darryl Bruffett before his day got underway.

Johnny said he knew he would be coming and going a lot, but was looking forward to sharing his story about Texas A&M and the success the Aggies enjoyed during their first season in the Southeastern Conference with everyone.

Monday Johnny is scheduled to read The Top Ten on the Late Show With David Letterman. The show can be seen on KBTX at 10:35pm following News 3's Ten at Ten.

When ask if he got any sleep Saturday night after being named the 78th Heisman Trophy winner Johnny said, "not much."

He didn't really know when he would be back in Aggieland, but couldn't wait to celebrate with his teammates and friends, as well as get back on the football field and get ready for the Cotton Bowl January 4th against Oklahoma.
